Jodi Kitto-Ward Biography

Jodi Kitto-Ward is a contemporary representational artist living in Hamilton, Ontario. Working in acrylic, Jodi's work is strongly influenced by line, colour and expression.  Her style is vibrant and simplified in form, evoking influences of Pop Art and Art Deco. By reflecting on themes of hope, nature and home, her work translates on an emotional level exploring memories, places and concepts, offering an inward investigation into who we are.

Originally from Oakville, Jodi is a Sheridan College Fine Arts Graduate, and an elected member of the Society of Canadian Artists, Ontario Society of Artists and the Colour and Form Society. Jodi relocated in 2002 to Hamilton, where she currently resides, painting in her home studio.

Jodi has won numerous awards, including the Ina Gilbert 1st Award of Excellence from the Society of Canadian Artists in 2023.  Her works are held in public and private collections within Canada and the USA.
