Terez Mull Biography

Terez Mull is a Hamilton-based artist working in several mediums. In 2022, after a 40-year hiatus, she has returned to her passion for creating, embarking on an art journey defined by experimentation and discovery. Originally from Orillia, Terez was classically trained in the mid-1970s and was strongly influenced by Canadian artists Jose Salas, Arthur Shilling, and Marta Brestovansky.

While her long-standing love for portraiture continues, Terez has recently embraced the challenges of "En Plein Air" painting. She can often be found capturing landscapes alongside other local artists with the "Hamilton Plein Air Art Collective". Terez is a member of the Women’s Art Association of Hamilton and has participated in juried shows at the Art Gallery of Hamilton and other venues including the Orillia Art and History Museum. Through her work, she seeks to convey a sense of connection and mood within both her portraits and landscapes.
