Kelly Macdonald Biography

A contemporary artist based in Hamilton, Ontario, whose work primarily focuses on Abstract Landscapes. Although MacDonald considers herself to be an emerging artist, her passion for
drawing and painting has been a constant in her life.

Having spent childhood summers in Haliburton Highlands where vibrant colours and
vast landscapes were a big influence.

Today, retired from a successful career in fashion, Kelly now has the luxury of indulging in her first passion.Her paintings are bold - pushing the boundaries of colour and light.

Using the medium of Oil paint, she applies these concepts to her favourite contrasting landscapes: the streets and alleys of Hamilton and the wide open spaces of PEI
