Rejeanne Sardo Biography
Rejeanne has always been involved in some artistic expression or project. She finds painting balances the scales of life and gernerates peace of mind in this busy world.
She is actively involved in the larger comunity, enjoyed volunteering as a docent at the Art Gallery of Hamilton, and presently is an active member of the Women's Art Association, where she volunteers in the administration of the affairs of the WAAH.
Her works have been shown in juried exhibitions at the Art Gallery of Hamilton, the scholastic fundraising exhibitions of the WAAH in the Hamilton area, the Sunrise Gallery, and various exhibitis in the local area and Toronto.
Rejeanne presently paints with oils and acrylic, and her passion to expend her artisitc energy has been enhanced with trips abroad and remote regions of the world. She is very much inspired by different cultures, the sensuality, vibrancy, and tranquility of place and environment.
She is moved by the spirit of the landscape and finds intrigue in the land and soul of its people. Her focus is to embrace that which surounds her, seek out the old and the new, and take from it the positive energy and go forward with expression.
